Sandy snow job

-

SANDRA Bernhard is the latest celebrity to get stranded on her way to Aspen. The comic was headed to a gig in the Colorado ski town when her plans were scuttled due to heavy storms. A spy said the Aspen airport “was completely shut down and the airline canceled all flights going into [Aspen], but not before Bernhard was stuck for over four hours waiting on them to make a decision on her flight.” After another two hours trying to get her luggage off the plane in Denver, the organizers of the festival she was booked to perform, Aspen Gay Ski Week, “sent a car and driver to rescue the comedienne,” the spy said. Benevolent Bernhard “offered a ride to two stranded pals she ran into at the baggage claim,” and the crew trekked 5 ½ hours by car to Aspen, we hear. But Bernhard’s sold-out show at the Wheeler Opera House the next night went off without a hitch. We reported that in the notsnowy month of July, actress Zoey Deutch — the daughter of Lea Thompson and “Pretty in Pink” director Howard Deutch — got stranded while trying to fly into Aspen and ended up hitchhiking 150 miles to get to a chic event thrown by Saks.
