Brutal acts of savagery on children

- By PATRICK REILLY

The head of Israel’s volunteer EMS squad described the unimaginable horrors he saw in the aftermath of Hamas’ vicious attack on Israel — including finding babies in an oven — as the Israel Defense Forces ramped up its ground operations in Gaza.

Eli Beer, founder and president of United Hatzalah, described to the Republican Jewish Coalition this week how he witnessed “with his own eyes” how Hamas terrorists had brutally murdered a mother in front of her children in a small kibbutz during the Oct. 7 massacre.

The soldiers sliced open the stomach of a pregnant mother, “took out the baby, and stabbed the little tiny baby in front of her and then shot her in front of her family,” he said.

The terrorists then proceeded to kill the rest of the family living in the small kibbutz.

In a barbaric scene, Beer said his organization had even seen babies that had been placed in ovens.

Children murdered

“We saw a little baby in an oven,” Beer said. “These bastards put these babies in an oven and put on the oven. We found the kid a few hours later.”

“These are not regular enemies, these are not regular situations,” Beer added. “I saw little kids who were beheaded. We didn’t know which head belonged to which kid.”

In the aftermath, Beer said he was inconsolable for five days.

“Seeing little children, some of them had grandparents who were Holocaust survivors — and they were murdered in a holocaust in Israel in 2023,” he said.

Also Wednesday, a Hamas terrorist revealed, in his own words, the sickening details of how he attacked children cowering inside an Israeli home.

A shocking interrogation video showed Omar Sami Marzuk Abu Rusha, a member of Hamas’ Nukhba force, tell the IDF he heard the sound of children in a safe room while eating dates inside the home.

He and a fellow terrorist opened fire until they “didn’t hear noise anymore,” he said.

Abu Rusha said their mission, which targeted the Kfar Azza kibbutz, “was simply to kill.”

Urban warfare

Israeli forces have moved into northern Gaza with ground troops and tanks with the goal of securing the region and taking out Hamas leadership.

IDF released footage on Tuesday showing troops and tanks

on the ground in Gaza, offering a rare glimpse into the intense urban fighting in the enclave.

Tanks can be seen taking incoming fire and answering with projectiles.

Ground troops tour the aftermath of cities bombarded by aerial strikes, and conduct ground operations inside damaged buildings.

So far, 15 Israeli soldiers have been confirmed killed fighting Hamas in northern Gaza. In other developments:

Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati warned Tuesday that time was running out to stop the war from “getting out of control” and affecting the whole Middle East.

As most Gaza residents remain trapped without access to outside aid, the first batch of foreigners and injured Palestinians from Gaza were permitted to pass through the southern Rafah crossing into Egypt.

Hamas said it will let some of the estimated 400 Americans trapped in Gaza leave, President Biden announced Tuesday.
