Hotel heir in stash & grab split

-

HYATT hotel heir Anthony Pritzker’s divorce from his wife of 35 years, Jeanne , is turning nasty. A source close to the situation told Page Six that Tony is desperately trying to get her to stick with their prenuptial agreement in “his latest effort to strip her of her rights in their divorce.”

“He is now engaged in controlling . . . and unfair behavior toward her to hold her to a prenup that currently has no basis in reality of their current life,” the insider claims.

The couple married in 1989 and reportedly separated last year. He quietly filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences,” several months ago.

But the writing was seemingly on the wall the moment they said, “I do.” We’re told a then-“naive” 20-something Jeanne signed “a very restrictive prenup” one week before walking down the aisle. “He stuck it under her nose . . . and now he’s trying to get her to live by it, which is nothing,” the source claims.

Forbes reported Tony’s net worth to be $3 billion, and our insider claims “he is crying poor,” claiming in the case that his net worth is only $55 million.

Tony amassed part of his fortune with Pritzker Group, a private equity firm he operated with his brother, JB Pritzker, who left the firm to become governor of Illinois in 2019.

Tony and Jeanne share one of the largest estates in Los Angeles County. He allegedly claims the family home is owned and operated by a family trust, but has not yet produced a copy of the trust, which he also claims pays all of his expenses, according to the insider.

Jeanne has hired power attorney Daniel Jaffe, who told us, “Tony was required, as part of a divorce case, to [disclose] a schedule of assets and debts, and an income and expense declaration. On his schedule of assets and debts, he listed net assets of $55 million. He did not include any assets from family trusts.”

Tony’s rep, Hollywood divorce queen Laura Wasser, did not get back to us.
