Bezos bash pulls prime celebs

JEFF Bezos and Lauren Sánchez held a star-studded engagement party in Beverly Hills on Sunday night at the home of designer Diane von Furstenberg and media mogul Barry Diller, Page Six has learned.

At the bash, legends including Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand and James Brolin rubbed elbows with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek. Disney CEO Bob Iger made the rounds along with Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Rita Wilson, Gayle King, Jessica Alba, fashion designer Stacey Bendet and DeborraLee Furness.

We’re told the Amazon billionaire gave “an incredible” and “heartfelt” speech to his fiancée at the party.

1990s icon and “Pieces of You” singer Jewel performed an original song she wrote for the couple called “Legendary,” a source told us. Also at the engagement party were Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse, Miranda Kerr and Snap CEO Evan Spiegel, jewelry designer and Hollywood scion Jennifer Meyer, billionaire Nicolas Berggruen and Hollywood financier Vivi Nevo.

We broke the news of the couple’s engagement in May. The power pair were in the South of France staying on Bezos’ $500 million yacht during the Cannes Film Festival, and Sánchez was seen flashing her ring on the party circuit and privately letting pals in on the good news.

The tech tycoon and the broadcast journalist-turned-helicopter pilot apparently started dating in 2018. In January 2019, Bezos announced he and his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott, were divorcing, and the next day nudes and intimate text messages the richest man in the world allegedly sent to Sánchez were leaked, revealing their affair.

Sánchez is profiled in a Vogue feature released this week, and Diller told the mag of the former mistress: “She’s a sparkler in Jeff ’s life . . . She’s lit him up in the nicest ways, she’s a great stimulant.”
