The UN’s Own Genocide
Even as the United Nations accuses Israel of genocide with its absurd initial ruling against Israel from its International Court of Justice in a case brought by South Africa, the world body is revealed as itself complicit in genocide.
The UN Relief and Works Agency was forced to fire a dozen workers for allegedly participating in Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.
The agency has long been an arm of the terror cadre directing aid to Hamas and its killers. But now its workers have allegedly crossed the line and joined genocidal battle against innocent Israelis. One reportedly lent their house to use as a hostage holding facility.
No shock, then, that the world body tries to shift blame to Israel, demanding it follow the Genocide Convention (as if it hadn’t been already) and send more aid to Gaza. Demands it has no actual power to enforce.
And just like all the demented outrage from the international left, the ruling refuses to call the Hamas butcheries what they are: terrorism. It also precisely inverts reality: It’s not Israel but Hamas that’s the would-be génocidaires here.
South Africa also cited a doctored quote from Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant about wanting to destroy Hamas while pretending it referred to all Gaza.
Note, too, despite the fact that the UN is (outside of the Axis of Resistance and the American Nazi Party) the most institutionally antisemitic organization going, the court refused to order an immediate ceasefire. Even these Olympic-level “anti-Zionists” know they have zero moral ground to stand on here.
Meanwhile, remember how utterly compromised the UN has long been on propping up Hamas and other murderous terror factions, even before Friday’s hideous revelations.
And while UNRWA’s actually doing alleged terrorism proved to be too much even for the Biden administration, which has suspended funding, the endless corruption here hasn’t stopped Biden himself from desperately trying to appease the radical left flank of his party by not backing Israel too much as he heads into a bruising re-election contest.
The UN is a moral joke. The verdicts of its court should be treated as such.
This is only the latest proof of that.
