San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and model fiancée Olivia Culpo are another romance for the record books.
Culpo, 31, is in Las Vegas to cheer on her MVP, McCaffrey, 27, in his first-ever Super Bowl appearance. On Thursday, McCaffrey was named 2023 Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year at the NFL Honors.
The twosome started dating in 2019, when McCaffrey was playing for the Carolina Panthers. Culpo, who was Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012, became a fixture at Panthers games soon after, and publicly confirmed their relationship with a red-carpet debut at Super Bowl LIV’s NFL Honors ceremony in Miami.
McCaffrey proposed to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum last April during a trip to Utah after four years of dating. They celebrated the engagement over the summer in Culpo’s native Rhode Island. Wedding planning is at play off the field. “She’s done a hell of a job,” McCaffrey gushed of Culpo on Monday, according to Extra.
“I give my input when needed, but obviously her style is unbelievable . . . I’m so thankful to have someone like her who’s not just supporting me the way she is, but also handling all stuff like that, allowing me to do what I love in the moment while she’s working on her career as well.”
Culpo — a fashion fixture on the sidelines frequently seen sporting a 49ers red Chanel bag or black Hermè Birkin — fangirled on Instagram after the 49ers’ 34-31 NFC championship victory over the Ravens: “Watching the love of your life live out his dream is the best feeling in the world. You deserve it all Christian. I love you so much.”
The model is also ready for motherhood, gushing in a recent TikTok she wants to “start trying immediately” for a family after tying the knot with McCaffrey.
