Education presentation: Monday, 7 p.m., at Newark High School, 750 E. Delaware Ave. The Newark High PTA will sponsor a lecture called “Understanding the Teenage Brain” by University of Delaware professor Judith Herman. Free and open to the public.
City council meeting: Monday, 6:30 p.m., at city hall, 220 S. Main St. Council will interview candidates for the city solicitor position.
