Education pre­sen­ta­tion: Mon­day, 7 p.m., at Ne­wark High School, 750 E. Delaware Ave. The Ne­wark High PTA will spon­sor a lec­ture called “Un­der­stand­ing the Teenage Brain” by Univer­sity of Delaware pro­fes­sor Ju­dith Her­man. Free and open to the pub­lic.

City coun­cil meet­ing: Mon­day, 6:30 p.m., at city hall, 220 S. Main St. Coun­cil will in­ter­view can­di­dates for the city solic­i­tor po­si­tion.
