Police seek help identifying Newark Shopping Center burglar
Police have released surveillance footage from a burglary at Newark Shopping Center last month and are asking for the public’s help identifying the thief.
The break-in happened around 4 a.m. March 25 at the T-Mobile store, according to Sgt. Gerald Bryda, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department.
Alerted by a burglar alarm, police found that someone had broken in through the back door. However, the intruder was gone by the time police arrived.
An employee of the store determined
that an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen.
