Ogle­town dol­lar store robbed at gun­point

State po­lice are search­ing for two armed men who robbed a store near Ogle­town on Tues­day night.

The rob­bery hap­pened just be­fore 10 p.m. at the Dol­lar Gen­eral in Salem Vil­lage Square, lo­cated on Salem Church Road, ac­cord­ing to Mas­ter Cpl. Michael Austin, a spokesman for Delaware State Po­lice.

The men en­tered the store just be­fore clos­ing time, dis­played hand­guns and or­dered a fe­male em­ployee to open the cash reg­is­ter. The woman com­plied, and the men grabbed an undis­closed amount of cash be­fore run­ning out of the store.

The first rob­ber was de­scribed as a black man, be­tween 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and be­tween 120 and 140 pounds. The sec­ond was a black man, be­tween 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall and be­tween 120 and 140 pounds. Both were wear­ing all dark cloth­ing and a mask.
