Steven Fry, 38, of the 500 block of West Vine Street, Pottstown, is charged with multiple felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property after a laptop computer valued at $700 was taken from Walmart on Route 309 July 16, a Vizio Touch Screen Computer valued at $1,098 was taken July 21 and an attempt was made, but abandoned, to take a Gateway u2 laptop computer valued at about $700 July 25, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
Surveillance video showed the same person in all three incidents, police said. He was seen leaving the store parking lot in a dark green Toyota with a license plate that was stolen in Coalbrookdale Township in Berks County, police said.
