Dublin Borough to host three-day centennial celebration this weekend
The Philadelphia Funk Authority will kick off three days of music, food, cars and fireworks this weekendas Dublin Borough celebrates its 100th birthday.
‘We’re planning a memorable celebration with events planned for all ages that weekend as we celebrate the past while looking to the future” said Dublin Mayor Christopher Hayes.
In addition to live music, the weekend bash will include a 5h Run, “Decades of Dublin” parade, two cars shows, street and arts festivals, kids activities, food, vendors and fireworks.
“We may be small as a mu- nicipality but we’re thinking big for this celebration,” said Nick Rosica, president of borough council. “We put a lot of energy into creating a great, family event to celebrate the last 100 years.”

Due to the 100th Anniversary Celebration activities, Route 313 (Main Street) will be closed from Rickerts Road to Elephant Road/Maple Avenue on Saturday, September 8 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Parking will be available at the Dublin Firehouse, the Dublin TEC Center and 120 Mill Street (from Cherry Lane).
