Sellersville Fire Department, 2 N. Main St., Sellersville, hosts its annual Fire Prevention Open House noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

The family educational day will include firefighter vehicle suppression and rescue demonstrations. There will also be fire prevention activities such as “How to Operate a Portable Fire Extinguisher,” “Proper Care and Usage of Smoke Detectors,” “Home Escape Plans,” “Electrical Safety” and “Maintaining Safety in Your Kitchen.”

There will also be local police and EMS members. Bring your camera to capture the moments. Lunch will be courtesy of the Sellersville Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Admission is free.
