Clarence Reinford
Clarence L. Reinford, of Harleysville, born March 6, 1925, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.
He was born in Schwenksville to the late Norman S. and Mary ELandesF Reinford and was the husband of Marie Detweiler Reinford, married Jan. 1, 1949.
Clarence was a member of Providence Mennonite Church, Collegeville, for the past number of years. In earlier years, he was active at Upper Skippack Mennonite Church where he served as a deacon, superintendent and chorister.
For over 40 years, he was an active farmer in the Schwenksville area. He continued to assist two of his sons, who were farmers, into his retirement.
In addition to his wife, Marie, he is survived by nine children, Ken, of Ephrata, Stanley Ewife EstherF, of Mt. Holly Springs, Donna Clemmer Ehusband GlennF, of Harleysville, Jerry Ewife MaryF, of Schwenksville, Steve Ewife GinaF, of Mifflintown, Lee Ewife GailF, of Souderton, Phil Ewife MonicaF, of Telford, Joyce Hunsburger Ehusband LenF, of Perkionmenville, and Twila Detweiler Ehusband GregF of Spearfish, S.D. He is survived by 34 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Clarence is also survived by four siblings, twin sister Florence Metz Ehusband late AbramF, of Souderton, Mary Ellen Hoover Ehusband DanF, of Schwenksville, Ernie Ewife MaryF, of Souderton, and Floyd Ewife Mary JaneF, of Souderton.
Clarence was preceded in death by four siblings, Lester, Nelson, Martha and Norman; and a daughter-in-law, Rachel.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, Pa. The memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Interment will take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wellspring Church of Skippack Cemetery Eformerly Upper Skippack MennoniteF, Skippack, Pa.

Owen W. Rowland, age 90, a resident of Towamencin Township for the past 53 years, died Oct. 21, 2012, at Abington Hospice at Warminster. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth EKossolF Rowland. The two were married in 1948 and previously resided in Philadelphia and Ardsley.
Born Oct. 27, 1921, in Patton, Pa., Owen was a son of the late Richard and Minnie ELyleF Rowland and was the youngest of six children.
In 1942, while serving with the state police, Mr. Rowland enlisted in the U.S. Navy and saw action aboard the Destroyer USS Wainwright in the Atlantic and Mediterranean fleets. He received an honorable discharge in 1946.
