Sarah Ruth
Sara F. (Detweiler) Ruth, V1, of Souderton, Pa., went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Grand View Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late Enos Hunsberger and Leidy Ruth. Sara was born in Franconia Township, Pa., to the late Tyson & Lizzie (Freed) Detwiler.
Sara loved gardening, quilting and needlework. She loved singing and was a devoted mother and grandmother who prayed daily for her family. Sara was a life member of Franconia Mennonite Church where she served as a former Sunday school teacher and sang in the mixed chorus.
She is survived by her two sons, Clyde Hunsberger and wife Doris, of Telford, Pa., and Glenn Hunsberger and wife Miriam, of Earlington, Pa.; her daughter, Marian Bickerstaff and husband Thomas, of Ocean Pines, Md.; her brother, Stanley Detwiler and wife Dorothy, of Telford, Pa.; her sister, Arlene voung and husband Harold, of Telford, Pa.; six grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death Ey KHU fiUVW KuVEDQG, (QRV B. Hunsberger; her second husband, Leidy Ruth; her sister, Edith Halteman; and her brother, Roy Detwiler.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit St., Souderton, PA 18V64, where friends may view and meet with the family from 1 to 2 p.m.
Burial will take place at Franconia Mennonite Cemetery.
