Faith communities serve up meals for people impacted by hurricane
Area faith communities came together this weekend to help out those families impacted by Hurricane Sandy
The Penn Valley Churches in Telford and Quakertown came together at the Quakertown train station Sunday, Nov. 4, to provide meals to those who had lost food due to power outages. Using food provided by Tyson Foods Inc., church members grilled up chicken dinners, along with preparing frozen chicken and accompaniments the local hurricane victims could come pick up.
