War drags on

A Ukrainian soldier engages with Russian-backed separatists in the Donetsk region on July 13 as the fiveyear-old war in the east of the country drags on. Despite the Minsk Protocol, which attempted to effect a limited ceasefire, some 13,000 people have been killed and as many as 30,000 wounded since the conflict began.
