Snow Daze

On January 9, heavy snowstorms in Madrid and much of Spain left three people dead and trapped motorists—more than 1,000 according to The Washington Post—and closed the capital’s air and rail links. Storm Filomena dropped 20 inches of snow in the suburbs—the most the area had seen in decades.
