Taking Flight

Afghan people climb atop a plane at the Kabul airport on August 16 in hopes of fleeing after the Taliban swifty seized control of the war-torn country. According to the Associated Press last week, the U.S. secured the airport with some 4500 troops as President Biden vowed to safely evacuate any remaining Americans.
