Landslide

A train was stranded on August 17 in debris after flooding in Wald im Pinzgau, near Salzburg. Storms have battered large parts of western Austria where landslides and flooding hit especially hard; 100 people were stuck in cars as a result. Damaging flash floods and mudslides also impacted southern Germany and northern Italy.
