A supermarke­t stands littered with wrecked merchandis­e the morning after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of the Fukushima prefecture on March 16. The quake killed at least four people, injured more than 100 others and cut off power to millions of homes. It is the nation’s second-largest earthquake since March 2011’s devastatin­g one, which killed more than 18,500 people.
