Adoption-Foster Care: A free informational session on adoption and child foster care will be held at 6 p.m. June 15 at Diakon Adoption & Foster Care, located on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, One S. Home Ave., Topton. People interested in attending the session are asked to call, toll-free, 1-888-582-2230 or (610) 682-1504 to register. Diakon Adoption & Foster Care staff will explain foster parenting as well as the processes involved in adopting a child. Attendees also will learn about children available for adoption as well as the foster-to-adopt program and a new service providing foster care for medically fragile children.
