Fleetwood Borough Police Chief Steven Stinsky reports that at about 9 p.m. on Aug. 2, Fleetwood Police were dispatched to a reported domestic argument taking place at Sheetz at Kutztown Road and Moselem Springs Road in Fleetwood. her to New York.

When Tavarez-Berroa stopped for gas at Sheetz in Fleetwood, the victim took her phone back while Tavarez-Berroa was paying for gas and began to shout for help. Tavarez-Berroa fled the scene in the victim’s car prior to police arrival and remains at large.

The vehicle, a 2009 white 4 door Toyota Corolla with PA registration KGL9168, was entered into NCIC as stolen and an arrest warrant has been issued charging TavarezBerroa with kidnapping, theft and related offenses stemming from this incident.
