Our Worship Service was held at 9 a.m., followed by a Fellowship Breakfast. Pastor Dave Long presented an inspiring message based on God’s Word. Our greeters were Wayne Adam and Gladys Adam. Our nursery attendant was Nicole Snyder. Junior church leader was Tonia Krick.

Huff’s Union Church 540 CONRAD ROAD, ALBURTIS

On Jan. 14 at the 10:30 worship service at Huff’s Union Church, Michael and Linda Hertzog and Ted Fenstermacher will present the Longswamp New Year’s Wish. Originally the PA Dutch would have a group of musicians, in the spirit of Christmas carolers, go house to house, singing a prayerful blessing upon the households at the new year. The wish is sung in the dialect, with an English translation provided. There will be additional lively music performed by the Hertzogs and Ted Fenstermacher, to wish in the new year, recall the old ways (on Sundays I put on my black suit and go to church) and to praise God for blessings.
