Kutztown Area Democratic Club meeting: 6 p.m., 234 East Main St., Kutztown. Presentation on American Business and Economic History in the Age of Trump by business historian Andrew Popp. His work has explored a range of topics in British business, economic, and social history in the 19th century. Most recently he has been focused on entrepreneurship and family business. His work has been published in four books and numerous academic articles. A resident of the Lehigh Valley for the last year, he is studying area family businesses in the second half of the 20th century. Public invited.
Know Your Symphony discussion It’s all Mozart Saturday: with the Reading Symphony Orchestra and pianist Boris Slutsky. Know Your Symphony, held 7:30 p.m. in the Highlands at Wyomissing, is a prelude to the concert. Discussion will be lead by Dr. Marie Aline Cadieux, professor of music at Kutztown University.
