Bring your DSLR or film camera and learn tips on how to shoot great winter-time photos outdoors. Slide presentati­on and cold weather tips and techniques. Then, profession­al photograph­er and instructor, Valerie Hoffman will lead us on an explorator­y walk, capturing great moments in nature. 10th Annual FriendFest Beer and Wine tasting event: held in Beltzner Hall on the Kutztown Fairground­s. Featuring beer and wine tasting, live music, delicious food and various vendors, all proceeds going to help the Optimist Club of Kutztown’s children’s programs in local communitie­s, as well as assisting Friend, Inc. end poverty and hunger in rural Northeaste­rn Berks County. Tickets at Colasanti Printing, 305 West Main Street in Kutztown and at Mr. Food, 342 West Main Street in Kutztown, also on FriendFest.org. Tickets $25 in advance, $35 day of event. Designated Driver tickets $10. There are two sessions for the event, 3 to 6 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
