Kutztown Community Partnership discusses plans, goals for 2018 at annual meeting
Volunteers will be recognized
Kutztown Community Partnership will host their annual meeting on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kutztown regarding several key points regarding the state of the organization.
During the meeting committees and board members will discuss plans and goals for the 2018 year.
Current board members and committee chairs will recognize and appreciate volunteers during the event as well as announce awards for KCP Volunteer of the Year and Community Organization of the Year. Volunteers and committees will be invited to connect during the meeting to share ideas.
As of the new year, Sandy Green joined KCP to serve as the Community Liaison. Green brings her vast knowledge of leading a community to the organization. Along sharing her expertise, she will focus on community relations, economic development, and retail recruitment.
Economic development will be a focal point during the meeting to improve Kutztowns social and economic well being.
Retail recruitment will be discussed in the annual meeting as well with hopes to bring more long standing business into Kutztown’s community. In regards to committee updates any and all ideas or projects being worked on will be presented for further review.
The annual meeting is open to community members within the Kutztown Area who are looking to get involved in KCP projects.
Founded in 2002, Kutztown Community Partnership is a community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to the economic revitalization and preservation of Kutztown. The Partnership serves as a liaison to build community, to forge positive relationships, and to foster cultural and economic collaboration in this historic college town.
