Living Well with Diabetes: Wednesdays at 9 a.m. Jan. 31 through March 7. Open to all diabetics and their family members. Learn how to take charge in the management of their disease and overall health to lead active, fulfilling lives. Know Your Symphony: 7:30 p.m. at the Highlands of Wyomissing. Dr. Graham Bier, music director of the Berks Choral Society, will lead a discussion of Reading Symphony Orchestra program, featuring violinists Christopher Collins Lee and Eliezer Gutman. Program sponsored by Penn State Berks and Reading Symphony League . Tickets for sale.

Free informational session on adoption and

child foster care: 6 p.m. at Diakon Adoption & Foster Care, on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, One S. Home Ave., Topton. Attendees also will learn about children available for adoption as well as the foster-to-adopt program.

St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast: 8-11 a.m. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 E. Main St., Kutztown. All you can eat pancakes (plain, blueberry, or chocolate chip) plus a serving of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit salad, toast, juice and coffee. Profits benefit the church outreach program.
