Aidan really admires Steven Colbert because he is able to mix serious news with comedy. Aidan feels like this is important because Colbert is able to make news that is very important and often boring enjoyable to learn about.
Colbert is also able to make frightening or scary news, such as Donald Trump trying to build a wall to keep out immigrants or threatening to deport millions of immigrants or getting into arguments on Twitter with Kim Jong Un, that could potentially lead to nuclear war with North Korea, seem less terrible and even somewhat funny.
Steven Colbert is a good and respectable person who Aidan cannot imagine doing anything wrong.
Alexis Schoener is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Schoener of Fleetwood. Alexis’ future plans include attending Penn States Berks and studying biochemistry and molecular biology and continuing her soccer career.
Alexis has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School: Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), soccer, basketball, track and field, and chorus.
Also, Alexis has dedicated herself to the community by being actively involved in volunteering at the Animal Rescue League.
One person Alexis really admires is Mia Hamm. Alexis states that Mia is an amazing soccer player and role model for many young women. Also Mia runs the Mia Hamm Foundation and gives back to many people through this foundation.
