Hop on over to EGGstravaganza at the Berks County Heritage Center

-

The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department’s annual EGGstravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Berks County Heritage Center, in Bern Township.

Children can dye eggs in a variety of colors or create their own unique designs at our Sponge paint station. Families should bring the camera for a memorable photo with the Easter Bunny and get a special treat courtesy of R.M. Palmer Company.

Along with children’s activities and face painting, kids will enjoy getting up close to some adorable animals from the Appalachian Pet Farm. Kids can also learn to juggle with our friends from the Reading Jugglers Club or ride a pony with the Hilltop Ranch of Mohnton. While families are enjoying a spring day in the park, they can also get a sneak peek at all the programs, concerts and special events the Department has planned for 2018!

EGGstravaganza is not an egg hunt—only egg decorating. This public event is presented by the Berks County Parks & Recreation Department. Admission and parking is free!
