Mondays at Firefly Bookstore: 7 p.m., Firefly Bookstore, 271 W. Main St., Kutztown. Dr. William Towne, “to bee or not to bee; what is it like to be a bee.” Dr. Towne is a biology professor at Kutztown University, whose research is in honey bee ecology and communication. Free and open to the public.

Wine and Stein: 6 p.m. at the Henry Auditorium located on The Lutheran Home at Topton campus. Brandywine Community Library fundraiser, chocolates and sweets, Aulenbach Wines, Pinnacle Ridge Winery, Saucony Creek Brewery and food. Entertainment by Hannah Violet.
