K. Edward Rohrbach, 92, of College Hill, Easton, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born October 1, 1925, in Kutztown, PA, he was a son of Harvey E. and Ida (Wanner) Rohrbach.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Virginia E. “Ginnie” (Dykeman) Rohrbach, who died December 9, 1999.

Eddie retired from the former A& P Market where he worked for forty years. After retirement he went back to work at Lafayette College. Years ago he had been the owner of the former Eddie’s Market, Kutztown; and ran the clam stand at the Kutztown Folk Festival and Kutztown Fair.

He graduated from Kutztown High School Class of 1944.

Eddie loved to maintain his home, make ice cream and spend time at the Jersey shore on Long Beach Island. He enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels for twenty years. Eddie was a very loving grandpa.

He was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson Borough, where he was a member of the choir and started their video tape ministry showing at Easton Hospital and area nursing homes, for which he received local and state awards. Ed was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown, where he had previously served as treasurer and on church council.

Surviving are a son, Arthur M. Taylor and his wife Ann-Louise, of Lower Nazareth Township; two grandchild­ren, Bronwen McCrea and her husband Scott, of Churchvill­e, PA and Michael Taylor, of Easton; two greatgrand­children, Dylan and Sydney McCrea; a niece, Susan Dietrich Teti; a nephew, Douglas Dietrich; a great-niece, Lauryn Teti; as well as other nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predecease­d by two brothers, Charles and Paul Rohrbach; a sister, Nita Dietrich and his grandcat, Newton.

Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 27th in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampto­n Street, Easton. Call Tuesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Offer online condolence­s at www. strunkf h.com.
