Montieth rebounds from Friday flip to win at Lincoln Speedway
Ryan Taylor of Perkasie took home $3,600 for his feature win at Williams Grove Speedway Friday night to kick off a busy weekend of racing in central Pa.
For the second week in a row, Brian Montieth, of Collegeville, took a violent flip but came away uninjured.
After working all day the Brian Montieth crew was able to ready the No. 21 for Saturday evening’s race at Lincoln Speedway. With $5,000 on the line for the 30 lap feature, Montieth showed the field why he has been the six-time Lincoln Speedway champion.
It was Montieth’s second win of the season. NASCAR star Kasey Kahne paid a visit to both Williams Grove and Lincoln, bringing home a respective 6th and 8th place finish.
Lance Dewease brought the Donnie Kreitz-owned No. 69 home in first at Port
Royal Speedway. The victory was worth $4,000 and was his 107th win at Port Royal. Hamburg’s Andy Haus came home third in the Super Late
