Mon­ti­eth re­bounds from Fri­day flip to win at Lin­coln Speedway

Ryan Tay­lor of Perkasie took home $3,600 for his fea­ture win at Wil­liams Grove Speedway Fri­day night to kick off a busy week­end of rac­ing in cen­tral Pa.

For the sec­ond week in a row, Brian Mon­ti­eth, of Col­legeville, took a vi­o­lent flip but came away un­in­jured.

Af­ter work­ing all day the Brian Mon­ti­eth crew was able to ready the No. 21 for Satur­day evening’s race at Lin­coln Speedway. With $5,000 on the line for the 30 lap fea­ture, Mon­ti­eth showed the field why he has been the six-time Lin­coln Speedway cham­pion.

It was Mon­ti­eth’s sec­ond win of the sea­son. NASCAR star Kasey Kahne paid a visit to both Wil­liams Grove and Lin­coln, bring­ing home a re­spec­tive 6th and 8th place fin­ish.

Lance Dewease brought the Don­nie Kre­itz-owned No. 69 home in first at Port

Royal Speedway. The vic­tory was worth $4,000 and was his 107th win at Port Royal. Ham­burg’s Andy Haus came home third in the Su­per Late

Model fea­ture.
