El­iz­a­beth C. (Der­s­tine) Fred­er­ick, 84, for­merly of Ham­burg, PA, peace­fully passed away on April 16th at Lan­dis Homes in Li­titz, PA. She was born May 5, 1933 in Soud­er­ton

PA to the late El­wood and Ema­line (Cle­mens) Der­s­tine. El­iz­a­beth was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Fred­er­ick for 59 years, liv­ing most of their mar­ried lives in Ham­burg, PA.

She loved mu­sic, playing pi­ano at nearby nurs­ing homes and singing alto to all her fa­vorite hymns. Her artis­tic and cre­ative gifts found ex­pres­sion in teach­ing Sun­day school and Bi­ble school classes. El­iz­a­beth en­joyed cre­at­ing fes­tive dec­o­ra­tions for fam­ily holiday din­ners. She pro­duced dra­mas which in­cluded sew­ing cos­tumes for spe­cial events, en­joyed by church and fam­ily. El­iz­a­beth was an avid reader who en­joyed trav­el­ing.

She was a mem­ber of Hope Com­mu­nity Church, Fleet­wood, PA.

El­iz­a­beth is sur­vived by: three sons, Steve D. (Glenda) Fred­er­ick of New Hol­land, PA, Dale D. (Catharine) Fred­er­ick of Ham­burg, PA and Ray D. (Su­san) Fred­er­ick of Mertz­town, PA; a daugh­ter, Ju­lia D. (Clif­ford) Mease of Quak­er­town, PA; a brother, Roy (Mary Jane) Der­s­tine of Ap­ple Creek, OH; a sis­ter, Mary Alder­fer of Soud­er­ton, PA; ten grand­chil­dren, Tanya, Bradley, Sheri, Craig, Josiah, Ryan, Joanna, Bran­don, Janelle and Cory; eight great­grand­chil­dren, Abi­gail, Caleb, Gabriel, Nicholas, Jo­ce­lyn, Jeremy, Hadley and Elinn.

In ad­di­tion to her hus­band, she was pre­ceded in death by two grand­daugh­ters, Jen­nifer Lynn Fred­er­ick and Catharine Rose Fred­er­ick; two great­grand­sons, Ja­cob Mease and Luke Mease; one sis­ter, Grace Bech­tel; four brothers, Lloyd, Ernest, El­wood Jr. and an in­fant brother Claude.

A viewing will be held on Sun­day, April 29th, 2018 at Hope Com­mu­nity Church, 31 Lobachsville Road, Fleet­wood, PA 19522 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. fol­lowed by a fu­neral ser­vice at 3:30 pm.

Burial will take place at Fran­co­nia Men­non­ite Ceme­tery.
