NOVEMBER 28
Join us in celebrating the 11th annual Small Business Saturday on November 28th by supporting the local businesses we love. First observed in the United States on November 27, 2010, Small Business Saturday is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and ecommerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.
Now in its 11th year, Small Business Saturday continues to be an annual holiday shopping tradition — just one part of the larger Shop Small Movement that supports small businesses every day and everywhere.
To encourage shoppers to shop and eat in Downtown Hamburg during this year’s event, Our Town Foundation is giving shoppers a little extra incentive to visit all of their favorite places. The Foundation has created passports for shoppers to get stamped every time they visit a participating business. Those shoppers who visit at least 10 of the participating retail businesses, and also dine in one of the participating eating establishments will be entered into a drawing to win a basket filled with donated items and gift cards from ALL of the participating businesses! A total value of $400. In addition, many of the businesses will be offering special discounts on that day. Passports can be picked up at any of the participating businesses listed below the day of the event.
There's no better time to Shop Small in Downtown Hamburg than on November 28th!
