Lois “Nan” Shirley (Veit) Bieber

Lois “Nan” Shirley (Veit) Bieber, 85, of Bernville, PA, widow of Harold Bieber, died Tuesday May 4, 2021 at Reading Hospital Tower Health.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Estella (Wallace) Veit.

Lois was a graduate of Pottstown High School and attended Pottstown Business School. She was employed by Cumberland Farms of Bechtelsville, for several years, as the manager. Lois loved to play solitare and enjoyed sitting on the porch. She was a strong individual that fought hard and was refered to as one of the “Fighting Veits”.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia M. Kennedy, Pottstown; one son Andrew H. Bieber, Reading; one sister, Estelle M. Forge, Frederick; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and her loving dog Buttons. In addition to her husband Harold Bieber she was preceeded in death by her son Bryan Howard Bieber, daughter Robin D. Ziemba and sister Ruth Hudson. Graveside services and burial will be private in Spangsville Cemetery, Oley.
