Simple reasoning. Our leaders are dreamers in a wrong time zone.
I haven’t written anything to you in a few years now, but as the world turns and pushing 89 years, I felt I just had to put in some thoughts that I have learned from my past.
It has been said that Putin isn’t so smart; it’s that our leaders are so dumb. Unfortunately for all of us the facts are proving that statement correct. The facts are very simply proving that our President acted too fast in closing down our energy resources. It is fact that action is causing a global catastrophe, which includes America and death for so many Europeans. This administration and Biden’s boyish stubbornness is not thinking rationally.
It would take another few decades before we could have at least 500,000 electric charging stations in our nation as well as cars to be used by them. What happens to the millions of energy related cars that millions of people can now afford? That will also take time.
We need energy independence right now to combat the world’s immediate problems and most importantly our national defense. There just isn’t any time for waiting, the facts are showing that. Listen, yes, but then we must think for ourselves.
Looking back on history, it takes time for new things to advance. The world started with the wheel, then horse and wagons, bicycles and when oil was discovered intelligent men invented cars and other uses for oil, heating homes etc.
As a Christian, I would like to repeat something from someone I greatly admired: “I believe that God gave us a brain and He intends for us to use it. I believe it is part of His plan that we know more about the Universe today than the Disciples who walked with Jesus knew about their Universe. That I believe is the growth of humanity.” That is a quote from Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
Can you imagine the populace of that era drilling down and discovering oil and gas? What would they have done with it? Heat their homes drive their cars and fly airplanes? As it is today, in God’s timing, we learned of its use. So it is with electricity, wind and other sources of energy.
Our dreamers are rushing our timing. Today the timing is off so much that it is causing terrible dilemmas in our world. New ways of energy will appear as progress was made in the past, but when the world is ready for it.
This past year has been a disaster.
This administration has done nothing right. The unprofessional military pullout of Afghanistan and cut off of our energy, which affects our national defenses, have shown weakness in our leaders and their thinking, and has encouraged Putin to move against Ukraine and test our European and NATO allies, as China, Iran and the world looks on.
We are being held hostage by a nuclear threat. Are the Russian people going to let this “one tyrant” take them “All” down with a (national suicide)?
After all, we, America that is, is by no means a paper tiger. We are a nuclear power also, and most likely the biggest. No one wants a war, least of all those of us that have lived through the horrors of WWII and also without doubt the Russian people.
Can’t we all see the logic in that?
It is only the courage of the Ukrainian people that’s holding up Putin as the world turns against him. Please, God, save this nation and our world. Our leaders are dreamers in a wrong time zone.
