Legendary Baseball Hall of Famer: 1to 3p.m. at Kutztown Historical Society. Program on the life and times of legendary baseball Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson, who played with greats like Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. He grew up in Lewisburg area and attended Bucknell University. Free admission.

Earth Day Spring Cleanup: at Kaercher Creek Park, Hamburg, rain date April 30. Arrive by 8:30 a.m. to signed-in, coffee and bottled water for volunteers. Work 9a.m. to noon. Free lunch for all volunteers. Dress for the weather, including proper footwear and work gloves. Pick up downed wood and litter, pull or snipping back invasive plants, rake, edge and clear walking path. Youth under age 18must be accompanied by a responsible adult. April 7: Zion’s Lutheran will host the Northern Berks Ministerium Lentin Lunch at 11:30a.m. The service will include worship, food and fellowship.
April 10: Palm Sunday, to include communion, will be celebrated at the 10:30a.m. worship service. The service will be in person, on Facebook Live, and on the church website. Sunday school for all ages will be held at 9:30a.m. All are welcome.
