Legendary Baseball Hall of Famer: 1to 3p.m. at Kutztown Historical Society. Program on the life and times of legendary baseball Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson, who played with greats like Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. He grew up in Lewisburg area and attended Bucknell University. Free admission.

Veterans and/or dependents may call 610-760-7082to meet with American Legion service officer Eric Medei to discuss veteran’s benefits and services, including assistance with compensati­on, pension, death benefits, education and health care. Do not need to be Legion member to receive services. Quilting and history enthusiast, Judy Bauer, presents her 200-year-old handmade signature quilt from Maidencree­k Quaker Meeting House. Signatures include family names such as Parvin, Lee and Lightfoot. Q&A and story of her incredible find. Visit 1858School­house, which served community until 1961, features 1940s and 50s classroom and artifacts, including 1750s Quaker marriage certificat­e. MAY 15
