Joe Swope presents “Pleasant Valley Lost — History of Blue Marsh Before the Dam” set amid turbulent times of late 1960s and chronicles the last days of a family dairy farm condemned to destructio­n by a federal dam project. May 26 Birdabilit­y — Birding Is for Everybody and Every Body:

7 to 8 p.m. free virtual Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

Road to Recovery Fundraiser to Benefit Todd Gladfelter: 12 to 5 p.m. at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Amphitheat­er. Music, food, and goodwill to support chainsaw carving artist who made the Amphitheat­er an iconic space. Proceeds support his family with expenses related to the partial paralysis that occurred following a devastatin­g fall in November. This event is ADA accessible.

Hamburg Borough Memorial Day Ceremonies: sponsored by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Parade lines up at 9 a.m. and starts at the war memorial on 2nd and State Street. Ceremony will be at 9:05 at the memorial. The second ceremony will be held at Greenwood and St. Mary’s cemetery on North 5th Street at 9:30 a.m. The main ceremony will be at St. Johns cemetery veterans plot at 10:15 a.m. To participat­e, call 610-5622311 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. In the event of rain, ceremonies will be held at the Union Fire Company Field House on Pine St. at 10 a.m.
