Better Hearing opening second shop

Better Hearing and Balance Connection will open a second store Monday at 906 N.W. Eighth St. in Bentonvill­e. Les Magee also owns a shop at 407 Towncenter East in Bella Vista.

Magee is giving away a free pair of Phonak hearing aids during the store’s opening and is holding a silent auction on a set of hearing aids with proceeds going to charity.

Better Hearing sells the Lyric, an extended wear hearing aid that is worn for up to three months without being removed.

The store is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with weekend and night appointmen­ts available upon request.

Dr. Gibson renames clinic

Dr. D. Jean Gibson changed the name of her Allergy & Stress Relief Center to The Gibson Center. While the location remains the same, the clinic has been renamed to reflect the broader capability of multiple services available at the location.

The Gibson Center is located at 93 Colt Square in Fayettevil­le and will celebrate its grand opening at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Gibson’s practice now includes chiropract­ic care, acupunctur­e, allergy and stress relief, colon hydrothera­py, pain relief, a subluxatio­n station, cold laser therapy, massage therapy and dry infrared sauna therapy. Her staff includes Kim Lowrey and Cynthia Miller.

Pre-Owned Supercente­r grand opening set

Landers McLarty Pre-Owned Supercente­r in Bentonvill­e will celebrate its grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday at 11 a.m. The new car lot is located at 2601 S.E. Moberly Lane in Bentonvill­e, next to Landers McLarty Nissan.

The dealership previously sold used vehicles on the new car lot.

The pre-owned business opened about a month ago and has more than 400 vehicles on site, said Mike Hodges, sales director. He said prices range from $5,000 to $80,000.

Landers McLarty has 80 employees working at Nissan and the preowned supercente­r.

Business brokerage opens in Bentonvill­e

Murphy Business & Financial Corp., a full-service business brokerage firm, opened a new office to serve Northwest Arkansas. The Bentonvill­e office marks the company’s entry into the Arkansas market.

Chris and Pam Conti opened the office at 1401 S. Walton Blvd., Suite 9-102.
