Jones-Efird

Nevada Jones and Eli Efird, both of Fayetteville, plan to marry Sept. 21, 2013, at his parents’ home in Hogeye.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Eben Jones Sr. of Springdale. She is the granddaughter of Charleen Nordsell-Glasgow of Rogers, the late Ted Nordsell and the late Mary Alice and Douglas Jones.

She is employed at the Walmart Apparel Office in Bentonville. She is a 2008 graduate of Stephens College with a bachelor of fine arts in music and is currently pursuing an executive master’s of business administration at the University of Arkansas.

The groom is the son of Angie and Dr. Terry Efird of Prairie Grove. He is the grandson of Jo Ann and Allen Efird and Janis and Gail West, all of Malvern.

He is a teacher at J.O. Kelly Middle School in Springdale. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in middle level education and is currently pursuing a master of arts in teaching at Harding University.

Thornberry-Wilson

Christy Lynn Thornberry of Witter and Jason Albert Wilson of Fayetteville plan to marry Sept. 14, 2013, at the home of the groom’s parents in Fayetteville.

The bride is the daughter of Cindy and Charles Thornberry of Witter. She is the granddaughter of Doug Thornberry of Witter, Ira and Carlton Ford of Conroe, Texas, and the late Fern Thornberry. She is employed by Transplace in Lowell. The groom is the son of Sue Wilson and Randy Greek of Fayetteville and Ruth and Larry Wilson of Highlands Ranch, Colo. He is the grandson of Joyce Wilson of Whittier, Calif., Verna and Dessie Shackelford of Baldwin and Martha and Keith Guthrie of Fayetteville.

He is employed by Truck Centers of Arkansas in Springdale.
