Mayes 65th

Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Mayes of Fayetteville recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Robert C. Mayes and Maxine Epperson were married Oct. 31, 1948, at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville by the Rev. Walter Johnson. They have five children, Sheila and Bob Mayes, Steve Mayes, Ben and Sue Mayes, all of Fayetteville, and Maeva and Bill Mayes and Jim and Linda Mayes, all of Huntsville; 11 grandchildren, Leslie and James Bullard of Bentonville, Amanda and Billy Mayes and Iris Wright, all of Huntsville, Matthew Mayes, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Staci and Nathan Bodenstein of Springdale, Ivan Mayes of Fayetteville, Hope and Brad Mayes of Central Asia, Ashley Mayes of Jacksonville Air Force Base, India Mayes of Fayetteville, Jim Mayes, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Sam Mayes of Fayetteville; and seven great- grandchildren, Kent, Grace and Amos Mayes, Atley Wright, Rylee and Karsen Bodenstein and Cahill Bullard.

Lewis 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Linden Lewis of Lowell are celebrating their golden wedding aniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 28, 2013, at the Springdale Senior Center John Powell Annex in Springdale.

Linden Lewis and Pattie Neill were married Dec. 27, 1963, in Springdale. They have two children, Shelly Ritchie of Lowell and Brian and Mistie Lewis of Bossier City, La.; and three grandsons, Brandon, Jeffrey and Joshua.

Martens 60th

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Martens of Bentonville are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 29, 2013, at Avondale’s Chapel and Gardens in Bentonville.

Donald Martens and Marilyn Rogers were married Dec. 31, 1953, at the Congregational church in Peoria, Ill. They have four children, David Martens and wife Lisa, Rick Martens and Tom Martens, all of Bentonville, and Rob Martens and wife Dolores of Bakersfield, Calif.; six granchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Renegar 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Renegar of Fayetteville are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.

Gary Renegar and Billie Thomas were married Dec. 22, 1963, in Alexandria, La. They have three children, Kristi Lewis of Cedar Park, Texas, Karen Gentz of Rogers and Kathy Plunkett of Fayetteville; and eight grandchildren, Hadley, Zach and Gary Lewis of Cedar Park, Montana and Dakota Kennan of Rogers and Kyle, Jacob and Macey Plunkett of Fayetteville.

Lewis 60th

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lewis of Bella Vista are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Mo.

Roger Lewis and Dotty Oaks were married Dec. 20, 1953 at the Presbyterian church in Torrington, Wyo. They have four children, David Lewis and wife Jill of Mulvane, Kan., Scott Lewis and wife Pat of Rogers, Kandi Kimbal and husband Tim of West Plains, Mo., and Kelley Lewis and Lisa Hatch of Rogers; and six grandchildren, Chelsea, Tanner, Gabe, Hailey, Emily and Claire.

Hubbert 60th

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hubbert of Bella Vista are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Wayne Hubbert and Joanne Dubiel married Dec. 26, 1953, at the Methodist church in Downers Grove, Ill. They have three children, Mark Hubbert of Rogers, Melinda Nickens and husband JC of Houston and Meredith Kassabian and husband Ken of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Clay, Chris, Cole and Katie.
