Scott Cook, a real-estate agent with Clark Partners Realty Group, has been awarded the e-PRO Certificat­ion, the official technology certificat­ion offered by the National Associatio­n of Realtors. Cook joins 30,000 real-estate profession­als who have earned the certificat­ion. Clark Partners Realty Group is based in Fayettevil­le.

Sabrina Chesne, an English faculty member at Northwest Arkansas Community College, will assume the role of Honors Program coordinato­r at the beginning of the spring 2015 semester. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern California and master’s degrees in creative writing and public administra­tion from the University of Arkansas. She has been a faculty member at the college for 10 years and has served as a full-time faculty member for the past five years.

Kevin Thompson was promoted to senior vice president of lending at Centennial Bank. He has 12 years of banking experience in commercial, consumer and mortgage lending. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and administra­tion from the University of Arkansas and serves as vice president of the Emerging Leaders Section of Arkansas Bankers Associatio­n and as treasurer of Fayettevil­le Lions Club. He is an alumnus of Fayettevil­le Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fayettevil­le. He is located in Centennial Bank’s Northwest Arkansas regional headquarte­rs at 1400 E. Joyce Blvd., Fayettevil­le.

Nathan Harris was recently promoted to vice president of commercial lending at Centennial Bank. He has nine years of banking experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, loan documentat­ion and special assets. Harris earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Arkansas State University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is an alumnus of Fayettevil­le Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fayettevil­le. He is located in Centennial Bank’s Northwest Arkansas regional headquarte­rs at 1400 E. Joyce Blvd., Fayettevil­le.

Mary Pedersen joined Arvest Bank in Springdale as senior vice president and private banking manager. Her previous 20-year work experience includes private banking leadership roles, most recently as regional market manager. Pedersen is a past board member of the Rogers Public School Foundation.
