Threats to our nation
At this point in time the bulk of the people in our country remind me of a poor-sighted horse with blinders on the bridle. They show more interest in the exhibition of a flag in history than in very important and serious problems that are a threat to our country now and for future generations.
These come immediately to mind: a multitrillion-dollar debt, obesity ( a serious health threat now and more so in the future), Iran, ISIS, illegal immigration, the worst president in my lifetime (90 years), the attitude of many of our politicians to sustain themselves and their party regardless of the effect on the country. This is my list. You probably have additions.
I implore you to pray that we are again fortunate to find a Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, or Reagan. J.E. HAIN JR.
