MID- AMERICAN CONFERENCE

-

Game of the Week

Army at Eastern Michigan: Army has been close in all three games this season but still doesn’t have a victory to show for it. The Black Knights get another chance Saturday.

Army visits Eastern Michigan on Saturday after losing its first three games by a combined 10 points, including last weekend’s 17-14 loss to visiting Wake Forest on a field goal as time expired.

The Eagles (1-2) dropped last weekend’s MAC opener to visiting Ball State, 28-17, but sophomore running back Darius Jackson already has six touchdowns this season.

Around the MAC

Marshall at Kent State: Kent State (1-2) hopes to keep up the trend of winning at home, with the Golden Flashes’ only win this season coming at home against Delaware State, while losing to Illinois and Minnesota on the road. They welcome Marshall (2-1), who hopes to break the trend of losing on the road, having sandwiched a pair of home wins over Purdue and Norfolk State around a road loss to Ohio.

Nevada at Buffalo: Buffalo (2-1) comes in hoping to build off a 33-15 road win at Florida Atlantic last week, coming home to take on a Nevada (1-2) team hoping to snap a two-game losing streak, having dropped their last two

against ranked teams.

Arkansas St. at Toledo: Toledo (2-0) looks to keep their hot start rolling, as they’ve beaten the SEC’s Arkansas and the Big 12’s Iowa State to start the season. The Rockets welcome Arkansas State (1-2), who comes in with some winning momentum, having beaten Missouri State 70-7 last week.
