So many questions …

-

It’s raining outside and the grass needs mowing but I guess it’ll have to wait. As I sit and watch the rain, things pop up in my mind. Questions, questions, so many questions! Some mundane, some with merit. But I stop and ponder each one.

Why have laws if they’re not enforced?

Why do robins always fly across the path of your car? (Really. Watch ’em.)

If one has nothing to hide, why don’t they tell the truth?

Would I buy a used car from Hillary Clinton? Are any “isms” good? Isn’t “world peace” an oxymoron? How many frequent-flier miles does John Kerry have now?

Why are so many governed by so few?

Is rationale just some kind of French word?

Why, in politics, is the best choice the lesser of two evils?

Has the current Department of in-Justice ever concluded an ongoing investigation?

Why do hypocrites always do what they accuse others of? What is the fear of fear called? Why are some so concerned about the climate when there’s absolutely nothing they can do to change it?

Is it just me or do the State Department spokesmen always look drugged?

Why is common sense now so … uncommon?

Well, now the rain has stopped and the sun has come out. Oh no. Another one. I wonder if the grass is too wet to mow.
