CENTERTON — Hazel Marie Whatley, 81, of Centerton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1 in her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Ethel, Ark., to Sam and Lottie House.

She retired from Tyson foods and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hiwasse where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Brewer; one brother, Bobby House; and her granddaugh­ter, Laura Lea Yarbrough. She is survived by her husband James R. “Bobby” Whatley of Centerton; two daughters: Jennie Lou Yarbrough of Ozark and Billie Jean and Ron Swayze of Centerton; two sons: Roger and Chris Ann Yarbrough and Rickey and Mary Ann Yarbrough of Humphrey; one brother, George and Jeannie House of Stella, Mo.; very close friend, Dennis Kagebin of DeWitt; 11 grandchild­ren; 12 great-grandchild­ren and four great- great- grandchild­ren.

LINCOLN — Lonnie Allen Gragg, 72, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Sept. 1, 2016, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le. He was born Aug. 26, 1944, near Winslow, the son of Vernie Homer and Alice Lee Byrum Gragg. Lonnie attended the Rhea’s Mill Community Church and was a member of the Ozark Cattleman’s Associatio­n.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Virginia Chandler, four brothers, Billy Gragg, Johnny Gragg, Richard Gragg and Phillip Gragg. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Gragg; two sons, John Gragg and Scott Gragg and his wife Shawna; one daughter, Ann Ingram and her husband Nelson all of Lincoln; one sister, Gloria June Evans of Farmington; seven grandchild­ren, Ashtin Gragg and her fiance Kameron Fruchtl, Shelby Gragg and wife Brea, Walker Gragg and Jordyn Henry, Garett Gragg, Loren Gragg and fiance Wyatt Simco, Logan Gragg and Abigail Ingram; one great-grandchild, Ellison Gragg.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday Sept. 5, 2016, 10 a.m. at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion. Honorary pallbearer­s will be his Grandsons.

ROGERS — Fred Martin Barker, 87, of Rogers, Ark., passed from this life Sept. 1, 2016, in Rogers. He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Albany, Ore., to Forest and Bessie (Martin) Barker.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Craig Barker.

Mr. Barker served our country for over 20 years in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a machinist for Albany Internatio­nal for 22 years, retiring in 1990. Fred married Dorothy (Waggy) Barker on July 30, 1971. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Springdale, VFW 2952, and the American Legion.

Fred is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Christine McAuliffe and Gary Barker; his grandchild­ren, Allison and Ari Aosved, Heather and James Barker, and Catherine and Craig Barker.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at First Assembly of God Church, Springdale. Interment will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery. Please share your memories of Fred on his memorial at www.Westfield Chapel.com.
