The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday. The pantry needs donations of peanut butter and other nutritious, nonperisha­ble breakfast and lunch foods.

Central United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le, 6 W. Dickson St., presents the Agape Singers youth choir from Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston at 6 p.m. June 28 in the Activity Center. The choir presents the musical Esther, taken from the Old Testament. The Agape Singers prepare for six months to present a musical with a message, and tour with the musical before presenting shows at home.

Bible Reading Ministry Internatio­nal in Carroll County plans a bus tour Sept. 17-23 to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Williamsto­wn, Ky. An informatio­nal meeting about the trip is set for noon Monday at the Cattleman’s Steakhouse Family Restaurant in Green Forest, with participan­ts asked to buy their own lunches.

The tour costs $619 for double occupancy and includes six nights lodging, 10 meals and admission to the Ark Encounter, the Newport (Ky.) Aquarium and the Cincinnati (Ohio) Zoo and Botanical Garden. A $75 deposit is requested.
