BENTON — Clinton R.
Dickman, 95, of Benton, formerly of Rogers, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, Bryant. He was born Jan. 8, 1922 in Wells, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline in 2010.
He is survived by his four children, Scott Dickman of Minneapolis, Minn., Kit Dickman (Ellen) of Paso Robles, Calif., Anita Corbell (Jack) of Johnson City, Texas, and Cheryl Stewart (Michael) of Benton, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Shannon Pickard (Thaddeus), Megan Barnard ( Colorado), Mallory Dickman, Arron Stewart (Ainsley), Laura Stewart, Morgan Corbell ( fiance’ Preston) and Brittany Corbell (fiance’ Marco); and 11 great-grandchildren.
He served stateside during WWII and was discharged from the Army in 1945. He returned to Mankato, Minn., with his new wife, Jacqueline. He worked for the Post Office for 30 years before retiring in 1971 to move to Rogers and work for Cooper Communities until his retirement.

ROGERS — Edna Marie Nix, 84, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark., after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Houston, Texas, to Robert Chester Sullivan and Edna Deaton Sullivan.
She was from a large, close family and preceded in death by her parents, her four sisters and twin brothers.
She and Arthur Nix married June 24, 1950, and had 63 wonderful years together; he preceded her in death 2014.
She took great pride in being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Edna was a devout Christian and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived out her faith through her gentle spirit and her willingness to minister to others. She was a faithful member of Central United Methodist Church and loved her church family dearly.
Edna is survived by one daughter, Beverly Ann Morgan and husband, John Whitney Morgan, III, of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Brent Morgan, Jennifer Ashford and husband, Jacob, John Whitney Morgan, IV and Lindsey Morgan and three great- grandchildren, Jax Ashford, Jericho Ashford and Avery Ogden-Morgan, all of Fayetteville, Ark.; sister-inlaw, Nell Nix of Katy, Texas; special nieces and nephews: Georgia McManness of Humble, Texas, Betty Kistler, and Lynn Williams of Tomball, Texas, Brenda Williams of Galveston, Texas, Russell Nix of Clear Lake, Texas, Kenneth Nix of Houston, Texas, Melissa Susanne Nix of Katy, Texas, Ronnie Hedgecock of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Larry Hedgecock of Conroe, Texas, Jimmy Sullivan of Spring, Texas and Denny Sullivan of Houston, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017, at Central United Methodist Church Chapel in Rogers with Pastor Brian Youngs officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Art, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
