DURHAM — Patricia Lorene Smith, 73, of Durham, Ark., died Aug. 10, 2017, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1944, at Wayton, Ark., the daughter of Loyd Lee and Imogene Clara Flippo Reynolds.

She was a homecare provider and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Reynolds; and one sister, Virginia Starr.

Survivors: her husband, Bobby A. Smith, of the home; two stepdaught­ers and one stepson-in-law, Robyn Smith of Little Rock, Ark., and Cynthia and Michael Edmonson of Mayfield, Ark.; two goddaughte­rs, Cady Hartlerode of Harrison, Ark., and Chelsey Hartlerode of Elkins, Ark.; one brother, Loy Reynolds of Durham, Ark.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Reba and Phil Owens of Springdale, Ark., and Edith Warford of Durham, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Reverend Jasper Hankins officiatin­g. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Crosses, Ark., under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home-Huntsville www. brashearsf­uneralhome.net.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Dean Reeves, 71, of Fayettevil­le, passed from this life on Aug. 9, 2017, in Springdale. He was born on Feb. 10, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Curtis and a son, Michael Reeves. Left to cherish Dean’s memory are his wife, Patricia Reeves; daughters, Wendy Todd and Heather Reeves; a son, Dean Reeves II; and nine grandchild­ren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. FAYETTEVIL­LE — Joan

Cole Scarbrough, age 87, passed away Aug. 10, 2017, at her home in Fayettevil­le, Ark. Mrs. Scarbrough was born in Warrensbur­g, Mo., to Lawrence and Lula Cole on Feb. 15, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, the late Hugh R. Scarbrough, Jr.; her parents and her only sibling, Bernadine Cole Ford.

She is survived by her seven children: James Cole Scarbrough, Cathy Plafcan and her husband Jon, Susan Davis and her husband Drew, Ann Ratcliff and her husband Randy, Teresa Campbell and her husband Brent, Spencer Scarbrough and his wife Mignonne and Michael Scarbrough and his wife Cheryl; 24 grandchild­ren and 25 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be held 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel. Rosary will be held 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayettevil­le, with Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30 p.m. A private family interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

PEA RIDGE — Helen Imogene Robbins, 85, passed away on Aug. 9, 2017, in Pea Ridge. She was born on April 10, 1932, in Rogers, Ark., to the late Carl F. and Ethel S. (Townsend) Rounds. She was the loving wife of the late Charles RC Robbins.

She loved being outside sitting on her porch, doing yard work, feeding the birds, watching the deer from her window, sewing, fishing, visiting with her neighbors, taking care of her grandkids and her greatest joy of being a mother to Billy and Robby.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years; parents and siblings, Virgil Rounds and Velma Weaver.

Helen is survived by her sons, Billy and Robby Robbins, both of Pea Ridge; brother, Clyde Rounds; nine grandchild­ren and 21 great-grandchild­ren.

A visitation will be on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Monday at the Fayettevil­le National Cemetery at 11 a.m.

SPRINGDALE — Betty Lorraine Douthit, 91, of Springdale, Ark., left us to be with her Lord on Aug. 9, 2017. She was born on Dec. 18, 1925, to the late Anson and Mary Geiger in Guide Rock, Neb.

She was married to her husband, Johnie Douthit in 1949. They had 68 wonderful years together. They were known as great crappie fish- ermen and enjoyed each other all of those years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister and one stepson, Scotty Dale Douthit, and wife Linda.

She is survived by her husband, Johnie of Spring- dale; one grandson, Scotty Dale Douthit and wife Tracy; a great-grandson, Scotty Dale Douthit, all of Russellvil­le, Ark.

SPRINGDALE — Larry Lane Thomas, 66, of Springdale, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1951, in Springdale to Frank and Opal Edgemon Thomas.

Larry had a big heart and enjoyed riding horses in his younger years.

He is survived by two children, Bryan Thomas and Bridget Henry and her husband Richard, both of Pea Ridge; four brothers, James Thomas, Donald Thomas, Dean Thomas, Charles Thomas; one sister, Carolyn Riggins; and four grandchild­ren, Trevor, Mason, Tiffany, and Trinity.
